John Hughes Children: Meet Mark Hughes, Wendy Hughes & Evan Hughes

John Hughes had three children. They are Mark Hughes, Wendy Hughes and Evan Hughes.

He had Evan Hughes with his wife, Peggy. The two other children, Mark and Wendy Hughes came through an earlier marriage to the late Libby Hughes.

John Hughes had six grandchildren.

There isn’t much information about his children on the internet as they love to keep a low profile.

In 2014, Hughes published an autobiography, Paper Boy to Pultizer, which he said he wrote for his children and grandchildren.

John Hughes served as the editor of The Christian Science Monitor and The Deseret News and is a former president of the American Society of Newspaper Editors. Hughes has written two books and for years, wrote a nationally syndicated column for The Christian Science Monitor.
