Fabián O’Neill Domnguez was a Uruguayan footballer who played in the midfield. Fabian O’Neill had three children, two daughters and a son, all of whom were born to different mothers.

As of December 2021, his son Favio was a defensive midfielder for Nacional’s rivals Pearol’s under-19 team; as of June 2020, his middle child Martina was a field hockey player.
Fabian O’Neill died on Sunday, December 25, 2022, at the age of 49, according to Uruguay’s soccer federation.
According to ESPN, O’Neill was admitted to the hospital on Saturday, December 24 2022, in a coma with bleeding from chronic liver disease.

Fabián O’Neill began and ended his career at Nacional, where he won the Uruguayan Primera División in 1992. He played the majority of his career in Italy, primarily with Cagliari, but also with Juventus and Perugia.
Fabián O’Neill made 19 appearances for Uruguay, beginning with the Copa América in 1993 and ending with the FIFA World Cup in 2002.
