Eamonn Holmes OBE is a Northern Irish journalist and broadcaster. Between 1993 to 2005, Holmes co-hosted GMTV for twelve years before taking over as host of Sky News Sunrise for eleven years between 2005 and 2016.

Holmes contributes to The People newspaper with a column. In May 2006, his autobiography was released.
This is MY Life is the title of his autobiography, a nod to another famous Irish Eamonn, Eamonn Andrews, after whom he was named.

What Happened To Eamonn Holmes?
Holmes began presenting the ITV daytime show This Morning on Friday mornings in 2006 and will continue to do so until 2021.
Holmes’ contract with This Morning expired in December 2021, which meant that the husband and wife team no longer hosted the show on school or bank holidays.
