American folk rock duo, Simon and Garfunkel are leaving their best lives separately in the 80s. The duo who shook the world with the music got separated in 1970 and never reunited.

After the separation, Simon has released over 14 studio albums as a solo artiste. His latest album which was released in 2018 is titled In the Blue Light. Just a few months after releasing the album, he announced that he was retiring from touring.

”I’ve often wondered what it would feel like to reach the point where I’d consider bringing my performing career to a natural end. Now I know, it feels a little unsettling, a touch exhilarating and something of a relief,” he said.
Garfunkel as a solo artiste has also released ten studio albums. His recently released album came out in 2007, titled ‘Some Enchanted Evening.’ Unfortunately, he started developing vocal problems in 2010, which got intense in 2014 and led him to cancel several shows and events he was scheduled to perform at. However, he came back stronger that same year.
”The voice is back now. I’m in flight again. I believe I have grown through adversity. A new creation has emerged that is truly exciting me- my stage show,” he said during an interview.
