He is best known for his partnership with Paul Simon in the folk rock duo Simon & Garfunkel.
Garfunkel has several hit songs to his credits including I Only Have Eyes For You, (What A) Wonderful World, All I Know, Break Away, I Shall Sing, A Heart In New York, Since I Don’t Have You, Second Avenue, and many others.
Through his solo and collaborative work, Garfunkel has earned eight Grammys, including a Lifetime Achievement Award.
In 1990, Garfunkel and Simon were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
