Rico Rodriguez is an American actor. He came into the mainstream for his role as Manny Delgado on the ABC sitcom Modern Family, which ran for eleven seasons from 2009 to 2020.

Born in Bryan, Texas, he had his first appearance in Cory in the House at age nine. He later had guest appearances on the series ‘Til Death, ER, iCarly, and My Name is Earl.
In September 2009, he began starring as Manny Delgado in Modern Family. His role was said to be “crazy hard” to cast by co-creator Steve Levitan.
Later in 2016, Rodriguez said he had “grown into the character”, finding more in common with him. For the role, he was nominated eight times, along with the rest of the cast of Modern Family, for the Screen Actors Guild Awards, winning four of them.
