Hanukkah Prayers 1st Night? Prayer For First Night Of Hanukkah?

Here is a traditional Hanukkah prayer that is often recited on the first night of Hanukkah:

“Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, who has sanctified us with Your commandments and commanded us to kindle the Hanukkah light.

Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, who performed miracles for our ancestors in those days, at this time.

This prayer is typically followed by the lighting of the first candle on the menorah and the recitation of the Hanukkah blessings.
