Hanukkah is a holiday that is celebrated by Jews, and it is a time for families and communities to come together and celebrate their heritage and traditions.

Each family or community may have its own customs and practices for celebrating the holiday, and there is no one “right” way to celebrate Hanukkah.

The two miracles of Hanukkah are the military victory of the Maccabees over the Seleucid Empire and the miracle of the oil that occurred in the Second Temple in Jerusalem during the Maccabean Revolt in the 2nd century BCE.

The story of the military victory of the Maccabees is told in the Books of the Maccabees, which are part of the Jewish and Christian canon.

The Maccabees were a group of Jewish rebels who fought against the Seleucid Empire, which banned Jewish religious practices and attempted to force the Jews to worship Greek gods.

The Maccabees were able to defeat the Seleucid Empire and reclaim the Temple in Jerusalem, which is the first miracle of Hanukkah.

The second miracle of Hanukkah is the miracle of oil. According to the story, when the Maccabees rededicated the Temple in Jerusalem, they found only a small amount of oil that had not been defiled by the Seleucids.

They lit the menorah (a seven-branched candelabra) with the oil, and it miraculously burned for eight days, which was enough time for them to prepare more oil for the menorah. This miracle is celebrated each year during Hanukkah, with the lighting of the menorah being one of the most important traditions of the holiday.
