Antonela Roccuzzo Ex: Did Antonella date someone else?

Antonela Roccuzzo is the wife of famous Argentine football star widely regarded as the Greatest Of All Time (GOAT), Lionel Messi.

Antonela rose to fame after it became known that she is the love-bird of the Argentine superstar.

While Messi and Roccuzzo are known childhood sweethearts, they weren’t always together.

One of Antonella’s friends told Para Ti magazine that while the happy couple have known each other since they were 10 years old, their relationship only started to get serious in 2007.

According to several reports online, Antonella Roccuzzo did date another man. However, she roke things off to get back with the athlete and when she did her ex had an interesting response:

“At least she dumped me for Leo Messi.”

As mentioned earlier, Messi and Antonela Roccuzzo, a fellow native of Rosario are childhood friends and knew each other since Messi was five years old.

Antonella is the cousin of Messi’s childhood best friend, Lucas Scaglia, who is also a football player.

After keeping their relationship private for a year, Messi first confirmed their romance in an interview in January 2009, before going public a month later during a carnival in Sitges after the Barcelona–Espanyol derby.

Messi and Antonella have three sons: Thiago (born 2012), Mateo (born 2015) and Ciro (born 2018).
