Mandy Patinkin Wife: Meet Kathryn Grody

Kathryn Grody is an American actress and writer. She is the wife of Mandy Patinkin, a well-known American actor and singer.

Patinkin married Kathryn Grody on April 15, 1980. They have two sons, Isaac and Gideon.
Grody was born in Los Angeles, California. She studied acting at the HB Studio in New York City.

The couple met while both were working on the same play. Patinkin, on the other hand, vowed not to get involved with someone he worked with, so he waited until the play was over to ask her out.

He went to a tavern and bought her yellow mums. Patinkin revealed in an interview with Vulture magazine, “I sat down and gave her the flowers, and I said, “I’m gonna marry you!” She pointed at me and said, “You!” And I snapped a picture.”

Kathryn Grody wrote and acted in the autobiographical play Mom’s Life. Grody starred as Lola in the Primary Stages production of The Model Apartment in 2013.

Grody has been a part of the theater crowd her entire career. She’s appeared in a slew of shows, both off and on Broadway. Grody received two Obie Awards for her work in the theater.
