Mandy Patinkin is a critically acclaimed Broadway performer who has received three Tony Award nominations, one of which he won for his leading role in Evita (1980), as well as seven Drama Desk Award nominations.

He has been nominated for seven Primetime Emmy Awards for his work in television (winning one). He has also been nominated for three Golden Globe Awards and a Screen Actors Guild Award.

Aside from Broadway, Patinkin has become well-known for his film roles, including his iconic portrayal of Inigo Montoya in Rob Reiner’s family adventure film The Princess Bride (1987).
