Stephen J. Levy is an American sportscaster and journalist. He is currently the lead play-by-play announcer for ESPN’s Monday Night Football and a host and commentator for various other ESPN programs.
Levy began his career in the 1980s as a sportscaster and journalist in the New York metropolitan area. He worked for several local television stations and radio stations, including WCBS-TV and WFAN, before joining ESPN in 1993.
Since then, he has worked on a variety of ESPN programs, including SportsCenter, NFL Live, and ESPN Radio. In 2006, Levy was named the lead play-by-play announcer for Monday Night Football, a position he has held ever since.
In addition to his work at ESPN, Levy is also a member of the New York State Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame and has received numerous awards for his work as a journalist.
