American football coach Arthur Ray Briles is the Guelfi Firenze’s head coach at the moment in the Italian Football League.

Art Briles is a former American football coach. He was most recently the head coach at Mount Vernon High School in Mount Vernon, Texas.

Briles began his coaching career at the high school level in Texas, where he had great success at several different schools. He then moved on to coach at the collegiate level, serving as the head coach at the University of Houston from 2003 to 2007 and at Baylor University from 2008 to 2015.

During his time at Baylor, Briles led the team to several conference championships and bowl game appearances, including a trip to the Cotton Bowl in 2013. However, Briles was fired by Baylor in 2016 amid a scandal involving sexual assault and domestic violence involving members of the football team.

After leaving Baylor, Briles was hired as the head coach of the Canadian Football League’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats but was fired after just one season. He then returned to coaching at the high school level in Texas.
