Lawrence Douglas Lamb is an English actor cum media personality known for appearing as Archie Mitchell in BBC’s EastEnders.

Born on October 1, 1947, in London, Lamb began his career in the 80s, appearing in Soap Triangle, Buster, Essex Boys, and Superman III.

Lamb played the role of Mick Shipman in the comedy series Gavin & Stacey and Ted Case in New Tricks.

He has been in a number of films and TV shows such as I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, Who Do You Think You Are, Blood: The Last Vampire, and EastEnders Live: The Aftermath.

Lamb’s other film credits include The New Avengers, The Professionals, Fox, Minder, Lovejoy, Get Back, A Touch of Frost, Our Friends in the North, Taggart, Casualty, Kavanagh QC, Spooks, Midsomer Murders, and The Bill.
