An actress from the United Kingdom, Cheryl Hall was born on July 23, 1950, in London. She had recurrent roles as Sadie in The Bill and Shirley Johnson in the British sitcom Citizen Smith (1977–1979), which made her the most well-known for both roles (1984-1988).

Her 1971 performance as Eileen, a clippie, in the On the Buses episode “The Epidemic” was one of her earliest on television.
The screen girlfriend of Rodney Bewes is played by Hall in the film Dear Mother…Love Albert. The Doctor Who story Carnival of Monsters included her (1973).

For Canterbury in the 1997 general election, Hall was the Labour Party’s failed parliamentary candidate.
She also held the role of Leader of the Labour group on the Kent County Council while serving as a member of that body.
