Cheryl Hall is a British actress who was born on July 23, 1950, in London. She had a recurrent part as Sadie in The Bill and is best known for playing Shirley Johnson in the British sitcom Citizen Smith (1977–1979). (1984-1988).

In the On the Buses episode “The Epidemic,” which aired in 1971, she had one of her earliest appearances on television as Eileen, a clippie.

Hall was Rodney Bewes’ on-screen girlfriend in Dear Mother…Love Albert. In the Doctor Who adventure Carnival of Monsters, she made an appearance (1973).

Hall ran as the Labour Party’s failed candidate for Canterbury in the general election of 1997.

She also held the role of Leader of the Labour group while serving as a member of the Kent County Council.
