The Rascals were an American rock band. The band was formed in 1965, and their debut studio album The Young Rascals was released in 1966, reaching #10 on the Cashbox chart and #15 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.

Collections was released in 1967, and Groovin’ was released in 1967, reaching #5 on the Billboard Top 200 and #6 on the Cashbox chart.
They changed their name from The Young Rascals to The Rascals and released the album Once Upon A Dream in 1968, which peaked at number eight on the Cashbox chart and number nine on the Billboard Top 200 chart.

The Rascals also released the albums Freedom Suite (1969), See (1969), Search and Nearness (1971), Peaceful World (1971), and The Island of Real (1972).
What happened to the band The Rascals?
The Rascals broke up in 1972 after failing to approach their earlier success. However, they reunited in 2012 for a series of shows in New York and New Jersey. The reunion continued in 2013 with shows on Broadway.
