Poona Ford born Kaylon Nakia Ford Jr is an American football player who plies his trade in the National Football League as a defensive end for the Seattle Seahawks.

Coach Charlie Strong’s departure from Louisville to become the head coach at the University of Texas caused Poona Ford to renege on his earlier pledge to the University of Louisville to move to Texas University.

At the University of Texas, Poona Ford played college for the Longhorns (2014-2017). Poona Ford was the 2017 Big 12 Conference Defensive Lineman of the Year while playing college football at Texas.
Poona Ford registered for the 2018 NFL draft but was left undrafted. Following that, Seattle Seahawks signed Poona Ford as a free agent and in his first season, he was added to the 53-man roster of the Seahawks.
