Former Brazilian professional footballer Ronaldo de Assis Moreira, popularly known as Ronaldinho Gacho or just Ronaldinho, played primarily as an offensive midfielder but could also be used as a winger.

Ronaldinho, who is recognized as one of the all-time best players, won two Ballon d’Ors and two FIFA World Player of the Year awards.
He was well-known for his technical proficiency, originality, dribbling prowess, accuracy from free kicks, use of feints, no-look passes, overhead kicks, and ability to score and set up goals.
All of which were pronounced traits of his early-age futsal playing experience.
For Grêmio, Ronaldinho made his professional debut in 1998. He relocated to Paris Saint-Germain in France when he was 20 years old before joining Barcelona in 2003.

Ronaldo de Assis Moreira was born on March 21, 1980, in Porto Alegre, Brazil, the state capital of Rio Grande do Sul.
His father, Joo de Assis Moreira, was a shipyard worker who also played football for a nearby club, while his mother, Dona Miguelina Elói Assis dos Santos, worked in sales.
Deisi de Assis Moreira, his brother, and Roberto de Assis Moreira, his sister, are his two siblings (sister).
