Hélène Mercier is a Canadian concert pianist and the wife of Bernard Alnault, a business magnate, investor, and art collector from France.

The couple got married in 1991 and they have three children, Alexandre, Frédéric, and Jean. Arnault and Mercier live in Paris with their family.

Bernard Arnault and Mercier met for the first time at a dinner party in the fall of 1989. That year, they spent New Year’s Eve together.

They married eight months later, on January 1st, in France. Only five people attended the ceremony, with Arnault dressed in white jeans and Mercier dressed in a “white Lacroix suit.”

Hélène Mercier was born on 1960, in Montreal, Canada. She is 62 years old. Hélène Mercier has performed at prestigious festivals in Europe and North America, as well as in renowned concert and recital halls across Europe.

In Paris, she has appeared as a soloist with Kurt Masur’s Orchestre de Paris, with Zubin Mehta’s Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, and with Natalia Gutman and Salvatore Accardo with Semyon Bychkov’s Orchestre de Paris.

Hélène Mercier has also performed with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, conducted by Vladimir Spivakov, as well as the Vancouver, Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal symphony orchestras, conducted by Charles Dutoit and Trevor Pinnock.
