Bernard Arnault is a business magnate, investor, and art collector from France. He is famous for being the Chairman and CEO of LVMH Moët Hennessy – Louis Vuitton.

Bernard Arnault controls approximately 50% of a massive conglomerate. LVMH’s performance has been remarkably resilient through major market downturns during Arnault’s 30-year tenure.

The Financial Times described Arnault as having “a compulsion to possess beautiful brands and transform their creativity into profits” in 2019.

He transformed LVMH “from a near-bankrupt French textile company to a global group with €46.8 billion in sales (2018)” and a portfolio of over 70 of the world’s most desirable luxury brands, including Louis Vuitton, Dior, Givenchy, Veuve Clicquot, and Dom Pérignon, in four decades.

Following the unprecedented disruption caused by the 2020 global pandemic, LVMH recorded revenue of €64.2 billion in 2021 (an increase of 44% over 2020 and 20% over 2019) and organic revenue growth of 36% vs. 2020 and 14% vs. 2019.
