Mahalia Violet Barnes is an Australian singer, and songwriter.
She is the eldest daughter of rock singer Jimmy Barnes. Mahalia was born on July 12, 1982 in Sydney, Australia to Jimmy Barnes and Jane Mahoney.
She was named after United States gospel singer, Mahalia Jackson.

Mahalia began performing as part of the children’s pop group The Tin Lids with siblings, Eliza-Jane ‘E.J.’, Elly-May and Jackie but has since become a session and backup singer in her own right.
She most recently has sung backup for Joe Bonamassa in the studio, and live.

In 2010, he graduated with a Bachelor of Music majoring in drum performance at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, United States.

Jackie Barnes has been performing since the age of four and has appeared on over 60 releases since 1990. He is currently the drummer in the Australian rock band Rose Tattoo.

She was born on May 3, 1989 in The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Westmead, Australia.
Elly-May Barnes is also a singer known for I Move Slow, Christmas Day, Jingle Bells / Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer and Little Drummer Boy.
EJ Barnes
Eliza-Jane Barnes, also known as EJ, is the second daughter of Jimmy Barnes and Jane Mahoney.
She was born on December 22, 1984 in Australia.
The 37-year-old singer Eliza-Jane Barnes has toured the world with Liam Finn, Evil J & Saint Cecilia and Lawrence Arabia and has released multiple albums, including: “There and Back” (solo), “Champagne in Seashells” (Liam Finn & Eliza-Jane), “BARB” (BARB) and “Strange Beasts” (Evil J & Saint Cecilia).
