Christopher Nolan Wife: Meet Emma Thomas

Emma Thomas is an English film producer who is married to Christopher Nolan CBE a British-American film director.

Emma Thomas and her husband Christopher Nolan got married in 1997. As of 2018, they live with their four children in Los Angeles.

Thomas was born in London in 1971. She graduated from University College London where she met her future husband, Christopher Nolan.

Emma Thomas is well-known for working frequently with her husband, Christopher Nolan. With the exception of the short documentary film Quay, she has produced all of Nolan’s films since 1997.

Her credits as a producer include The Dark Knight Trilogy (2005-2012), The Prestige (2006), Inception (2010), Interstellar (2014), Dunkirk (2017), and Tenet (2020).

Aside from producing films, Thomas worked as a script supervisor in the 1990s and assisted director Stephen Frears on High Fidelity (2015).

The couple co-own the production company Syncopy Inc. She serves on the board of trustees of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures and the Board of Governors of the Motion Picture & Television Fund (MPTF).
