Dane Jackson, a cornerback for the Buffalo Bills, injured his neck during Monday’s 41-7 victory over the Tennessee Titans. He was rendered immobile and taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

Jackson, who had a complete range of motion in his limbs, was transported to the ECMC Hospital in Buffalo, New York, for assessment. A CT scan and X-rays were planned for him.

Sean McDermott, the head coach of the Bills, said he was still waiting for word and was praying for Dane after the game.

According to NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo, Jackson was later discharged from the hospital and appeared to have averted a serious injury.

Who was the last NFL player to be paralyzed?

After colliding with teammate Tremaine Edmunds during a tackle attempt late in the first half, the Bills cornerback, Dane Jackson’s neck twisted backward.

Jackson was loaded into an ambulance after being placed on a gurney and backboard. Jackson was surrounded by the Buffalo squad while he was being transported in the ambulance.

Jackson, who was selected by the Bills in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft, is in his third season with the team and started his second game this season. Before leaving, he was tackled three times.
