Georgia Holt Cause of Death

Georgia Holt, singer-songwriter, actress, and model from the United States died on December 10, 2022 at the age of 96. Her death was confirmed by Cher on Twitter.

Her cause of death was not given. However, in September 2022, Cher revealed in a Twitter post that Georgia had been hospitalized with pneumonia and had been suffering from recurring health issues.

Holt began singing on an Oklahoma City radio station at the age of six, and by the age of ten, she was performing with bandleader Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys.

She won several talent and beauty pageants and appeared in a few minor television and film roles in the 1950s.

Holt also appeared as an audience polling member on the US game show Card Sharks from July 4-8, 1988, as part of a group of ten mothers of famous celebrities.

In 2013, Holt also released Honky Tonk Woman, an album she recorded in 1982. “I’m Just Your Yesterday,” a duet with Cher, is included on the album.
