Rick Stein owns four restaurants in Padstow – The Seafood Restaurant, St Petroc’s Bistro, Rick Stein’s Café and Stein’s Fish and Chips.

Rick Stein is an English celebrity chef, restaurateur, writer and television presenter. He has written over 25 cookery books, and a memoir and made over 30 programmes including 12 cookery series.

Christopher Richard “Rick” Stein, CBE was born on January 4, 1947, in Churchill, United Kingdom. Rick Stein is the father of Jack Stein, Edward Stein and Charles Stein.

Rick Stein was born and brought up on a farm. Rick Stein was brought up alongside three siblings including John Stein, Janey Stein and Henrietta Stein.

Rick Stein is the head chef and a co-owner of “Rick Stein at Bannisters” at Mollymook and Port Stephens in Australia, alongside his second wife, Sarah.

Rick Stein worked at the Great Western Royal Hotel in Paddington as a chef for six months. Stein was awarded the OBE in the 2003 New Year Honours for services to tourism in Cornwall.
