Rick Stein and Jill bought the restaurant, The Great Western Nightclub in 1974. Rick Stein and Jill Stein later opened the Seafood Restaurant in 1975.

Rick Stein owns four restaurants in Padstow – The Seafood Restaurant, St Petroc’s Bistro, Rick Stein’s Café and Stein’s Fish and Chips.
