Rick Stein is a celebrity chef, restaurateur, author and TV host.
Born on January 4, 1947, in England, Stein had received his training in hotel management with British Transport Hotels, working as a chef.
He later attended the New College, Oxford, and bagged a degree in English.

After many years of cooking practice, Stein now owns no less than 12 restaurants in England.
Also, Stein and his wife, Sarah, co-own and run “Rick Stein at Bannisters”, located at Mollymook and Port Stephens in Australia.
He has written many cookery books and hosted a number of food programmes on BBC such as the Rick Stein’s Taste of Shanghai, Floyd on Food, Farmhouse Kitchen, the Rick Stein’s Cornwall Series, and many others.
He won the Glenfiddich Award for Food Book of the Year in 1989, following the release of his book English Seafood Cookery.
In 2003, Stein was awarded the OBE for his contributions to Cornwall’s tourism industry, and in 2018, he received the CBE for his contributions to the nation’s economy.
