Rick Stein is an English celebrity chef, restaurateur, writer and television presenter. Rick Stein partially completed a hotel management traineeship with British Transport Hotels at its Great Western Royal Hotel in Paddington.

Rick Stein worked at the Great Western Royal Hotel in Paddington as a chef for six months. Rick Stein went to New College, Oxford, where he earned an English degree in 1971.

Along with business partner Jill Stein, he has run the Stein hotel and restaurant business in the UK. Rick Stein has written over 25 cookery books, and a memoir and made over 30 programmes including 12 cookery series.

Rick Stein is the head chef and a co-owner of “Rick Stein at Bannisters” at Mollymook and Port Stephens in Australia, alongside his second wife, Sarah.
