Sian Harries is a Welsh writer and actor who is married to Rhod Gilbert a Welsh comedian, television and radio host. The couple got married in 2013. They spend their time in London and Wales.

Sian Harries worked on the first season of Man Down before being promoted to co-writer for the second season. Here Be Dragons, a radio sketch comedy, was written and performed by her.

Harries co-wrote, co-produced, and starred in the 2018 film NeckFace. At the BAFTA Cymru Awards that year, she was nominated for Best Short Film along with Barry Castagnola and Jacqueline Wrigh for NeckFace.
Sian Harries and her husband Rhod Gilbert launched The Froth, a podcast, in June 2020. Llanbobl Vision, a production company is co-owned by Harries and Gilbert.
Following Gilbert’s cancer diagnosis in 2022, the couple relocated three times to be closer to the hospital where he was receiving treatment.
