Brent Thompson: Who is Tage Thompson dad?

Tage Thompson’s father is a former NHL player and current head coach for the Bridgeport Islanders, Brent Thompson.

Brent Thompson is a former member of the Phoenix Coyotes organization. Brent Keith Thompson was born on January 9, 1971, in Canada.

The Canadian former professional defenceman, Brent Thompson played 121 games in the National Hockey League. Brent played for the Winnipeg Jets, Phoenix Coyotes, and Los Angeles Kings.

Brent Thompson is married to Kimberly Oliver Thompson. He has two sons, Tyce and Tage Thompson who are both athletes. Tage Thompson’s younger brother played for the Dubuque Fighting Saints in the USHL and was drafted by the New Jersey Devils.

Brent Thompson’s Tage was selected by the St. Louis Blues in the first round (26th overall) of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. Tage currently plays as a centre for the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL).
