Tage Thompson is an American by nationality. Tage Nathaniel Thompson was born in Phoenix, Arizona on October 30, 1997.

Tage Thompson was selected by the St. Louis Blues in the first round (26th overall) of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. He currently plays as a centre for the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL).

In his first professional season, Tage Thompson scored 17 goals and 32 points in 74 games with the Wolves.

Thompson has played two seasons with the Sabres so far, scoring a total of 17 goals and 30 points in 122 games. He has also played in the AHL with the Rochester Americans, where he has scored 13 goals and 21 points in 34 games.
