Mills Bee Lane III was a two-term district court judge in Washoe County, Nevada, as well as a professional boxer from the United States, a boxing referee, and a television personality.

Lane was most known for his role as Judge Mills Lane on the syndicated court show Judge Mills Lane and for overseeing numerous heavyweight championship boxing matches in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s.
Lane made his first public appearance in years in May 2006, at the dedication of a new courthouse named after him in Reno.
The Mills B. Lane Justice Center houses both the Reno Municipal Court and the Washoe County District Attorney’s Office.
