Norman Pattiz was an American broadcasting entrepreneur who had a net worth of $350 million at the time of his death.

Norman Pattiz passed away on December 4, 2022. He was 79. His death was reported by All Access, who stated that he died on Sunday but did not specify the cause of death.

Norman Pattiz, was the Chairman Emeritus of Westwood One, formerly Dial Global, Inc. The company is one of the world’s largest radio organizations.

In 1976, Norm Pattiz founded radio giant Westwood one and turned it into a $4 billion company

In 1994, he stepped down as CEO, and in 2010, he stepped down as Chairman of the Board.  He served on the Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG) from 2000 to 2006, in addition to his work with Westwood One.

He was the chairman of the Middle East committee of the BBG. He is a former UC Regent, former President of the Broadcast Education Association, and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Pacific Council on International Policy.

In 2009, he was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame. Nroman Pattiz owns four Lakers courtside seats and attends almost every home game.
