Cliff Emmich was a stage, film, and television actor from the United States. Clifford Joseph Emmich was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 13, 1936.

As a student at the Pasadena Playhouse, he began his career on stage. While primarily appearing on stage, Emmich also appeared in summer stock theaters such as the Pink Garter Theatre in Jackson.
He had toured with the American Repertory Players in 153 cities across 23 states. Emmich’s film and television career began in 1969, when he appeared uncredited in the film Gaily, Gaily.

Cliff Emmich later appeared in a variety of television shows such as The Odd Couple, Ironside, Trapper John, M.D., 227, Murder, She Wrote, Happy Days, Mary Hartman, Fantasy Island, Who’s the Boss?, Charlie’s Angels, Columbo, Walker, Texas Ranger, Knots Landing, Police Woman, and Baywatch.
He appeared in over 90 films and television shows, and is best known for his role as Chicago in the 1973 film Payday.
Cliff Emmich died of lung cancer on November 28, 2022, just fifteen days before his 86th birthday, at his home in Los Angeles’ Valley Village neighborhood. He was 85.
