W. Axl Rose was born William Bruce Rose, Jr on February 6, 1962, in Lafayette, Indiana, the United States as the oldest child of his parents Sharon Elizabeth Lintner and William Bruce Rose. He was raised alongside his siblings Amy Bailey and Stuart Bailey.
In September 1991, Guns N’ Roses released Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II, which debuted at No. 2 and No. 1 respectively on the Billboard 200.
Axl Rose performed with Elton John on April 20, 1992, at The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert at Wembley Stadium singing Bohemian Rhapsody as a duet with Elton and also sang “We Will Rock You”.
