Clint Dempsey commenced his football career at a youth team called Clint Dempsey in 2001 and played there till 2003.

Clint Dempsey joined the New England Revolution in 2004 and played there till 2006 before moving to the Premier League to play for Fulham FC.

Clint Dempsey joined Tottenham Hotspur in 2012 after a great spell with Fulham FC but had a short stint there.

Clint Dempsey returned to Major League Soccer in 2014 to play for the Seattle Sounders FC before hanging his boots in 2018.
