Jordi Alba is a professional footballer and left-back for La Liga team Barcelona and the Spanish national team.

Born on March 21, 1989, in Spain, Alba started out his career playing for Barcelona, and rose to become one of the best left-backs of his generation.

So far, he has played for Hospitalense, Barcelona, Cornellà, Valencia, Gimnàstic, Catalonia; and the Spain U19, U20, U21, U23 football team.

As a Barcelona player, Alba has won sixteen major titles, including five La Liga titles, five Copas del Rey and one UEFA Champions League.

He won 23 caps and scored one goal as a junior befor making his senior debut for Spain in 2011.

He represented Spain in the UEFA Euro 2012, which he won, he has also made appearances at three FIFA World Cup tournaments, as well as two European Championships.
