Al Bemiller was an American professional football player best known for his tenure with the Buffalo Bills of the American Football League (AFL) where he played primarily as an offensive linesman.

He was born on April 18, 1938 and passed away on November 30, 2022. He was 84 years.

Bemiller is survived by four children: Todd, Tambra, Tonya and Tia and five grandchildren.

Bemiller played college football at Syracuse University and was drafted as an offensive lineman by the Buffalo Bills in 1961 and immediately became the Bills’ starting center.

Bemiller was switched to right offensive guard in 1964, playing between veteran center Walt Cudzik and right offensive tackle Dick Hudson, when the Bills won their first AFL championship.

In 1966, under new head coach Joe Collier, Bemiller switched back to center, playing between Shaw and right guard Joe O’Donnell.

Bemiller never missed a game during his nine-year career with the Bills.

In 2015, he was inducted into the Greater Buffalo Hall of Fame.
