Niclas Fullkrug and his wife, Lisa does not have any kids yet. Fans believe that Fullkrug may be focusing on his career and have not had any children yet.

Niclas started his career with the club’s reserves. Following appearances with the first team in Bundesliga and a loan to 2. Bundesliga side Greuther Furth in the 2013-2014 season, he moved to 1. FC Nurnberg.

His performances at Nurnberg earned him a move to Hannover 96 in 2016. In April 2019, he returned to Werder Bremen before the 2019-20 season was announced
In November 2022, Niclas was called up for the German national team for the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar. On November 27, he scored his first World Cup goal for Germany in a 1-1 draw against Spain.
