Jiang Mianheng is a physicist and business executive from China. He is the son of Jiang Zemin, the Chinese Communist Party’s General Secretary and the country’s supreme leader from 1989 to 2002.

Jiang is a co-founder of the Shanghai-based Grace Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation, which received press attention in the United States for hiring Bush family member Neil Bush as a general consultant.
Jiang was also one of the Chinese space program’s lead researchers. He was a Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences until November 2011.
He was appointed President of the Academy’s Shanghai branch until 2015. He was named president of the newly established ShanghaiTech University in 2014.
