Jessica James Decker is an American country pop singer. Jessica Rose James was born on an American military base in Vicenza, Veneto, Italy, on April 12, 1988.

Jessica James Decker’s stepfather, Steve Parker was a member of the United States Air Force. She lived in Iowa, Kentucky, Texas, Louisiana, and Georgia as a result. In 2007, she graduated from Warner Robins High School.

Decker began singing at the age of two. At the age of nine, she won her first talent contest in Baker, Louisiana, singing “I Want to Be a Cowboy’s Sweetheart.”

She’d already been writing songs on a plastic guitar and performing at SeaWorld and Warner Robins, Georgia in 2000. She began visiting Nashville on a weekly basis when she was fifteen, to hone her songwriting skills.

Mercury Records approached her after hearing one of her songs and offered her a recording contract. Jessie James, her debut album, was released in 2009.

She released her EP The Woman I’ve Become on October 22, 2021. The project resulted in a headlining tour, which concluded in August 2022 after visiting major cities across the country.
