Troy Polamalu is a former American football strong safety who spent his entire 12-year career with the National Football League’s Pittsburgh Steelers (NFL).

Troy Polamalu was unquestionably one of the best safeties of his era, and he received numerous awards.
He was known for his “range, explosiveness, and impact on the field,” and was instrumental in the Steelers’ success in the 2000s.
He was a first-team All-American in college football at the University of Southern California (USC). The Steelers selected him in the first round of the 2003 NFL Draft.

Troy Polamalu was a member of two Super Bowl-winning Steelers teams and was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2010. Polamalu has made eight Pro Bowls and six All-Pro appearances.
He was also the Alliance of American Football’s Head of Player Relations. In his first year of eligibility, Polamalu was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2020.
He finished his 12-year career with 770 tackles, 32 interceptions, and three touchdowns.
