Paulo Henrique Costa is a Brazilian mixed martial artist who debuted on April 21, 1991. He now participates in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s Middleweight class (UFC). Costa is the son of odd-jobber Carlos Roberto and Maria Augusta.

Costa’s older brother, Carlos Costa is a former mixed martial artist and one of Paulo’s coaches. Paulo Costa is currently ranked sixth among middleweights in the UFC as of August 1, 2022.

On Season Three of The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil, Costa was selected to compete. He eliminated José Roberto in the first round through submission (guillotine choke) in the second round.  Costa is scheduled to face Robert Whittaker on February 12, 2023, at UFC 284.
