In 1998, Jennifer Beals married Ken Dixon. He is a Canadian entrepreneur. On October 18, 2005, Beals gave birth to their daughter.

Dixon also has two children from a previous marriage.

Before marrying Jennifer, Ken tied the knot with Caroline Desiree Vermeulen in a small ceremony and private ceremony on June 21, 1987.

However, they separated after staying together for 9 years in marriage and took half-half custody of their two children.

Ken started his career as a property master for the art department in a crime-action comedy film. He then worked on a made-for-television movie, The Right Connections in 1997. He lastly appeared as an additional property master in the sci-fi adventurous thriller movie, Mission to Mars in 2000.
