Gregg Berhalter Salary: How much does Gregg Berhalter make?

Gregg Berhalter is a former player and coach in the United States. He is the current head coach of the US men’s national soccer team.

Berhalter was named head coach of the United States national team on December 2, 2018.  Berhalter signed a four-year contract in 2018 that will last until the end of the 2022 World Cup, which is a fairly standard length for national team coaching contracts.

Berhalter’s yearly pay was just under $1.3 million per year, according to reports citing 2021 U.S. Soccer tax filings, making him the highest-paid U.S. Soccer employee at the time.

On January 27, 2019, he earned his first victory as a coach in a friendly against Panama.  Berhalter led the United States to a continental title at the 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup on August 1, 2021.

Berhalter led the United States to a 2-0 victory over rival Mexico in World Cup Qualifying on November 12, 2021, at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio. Following that, the team qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
