Vincent Kompany is a Belgian professional football manager and former centre-back who is currently the manager of EFL Championship club Burnley.

Vincent Kompany is the father of three children Kai Kompany, Sienna Kompany and Caleb Kompany.
His daughter Sienna was born on the 10th of June, 2010. Kai was born in October of 2013 and Caleb Kompany was born in 2015.
Kompany began his professional career at Anderlecht, where he graduated from the club’s youth system and spent three seasons as a first team player before joining Bundesliga club Hamburg in 2006.

In the summer of 2008, he signed for Premier League club Manchester City, where he quickly established himself as an integral part of the squad and was regarded as one of the bargain buys of the revolutionized City era, blossoming into one of the league’s best centre-backs.
In the 2011-12 season, he was appointed captain of City, and he led the club to their first Premier League title in 44 years.
Kompany returned to Anderlecht as player-manager in 2019, after his contract with City expired after 11 years. A year later, he announced his retirement from professional football and took over as manager of the first team. He was hired by Burnley in 2022.
