Rodrigo Javier De Paul is an Argentine professional footballer who currently plays for Atlético Madrid in La Liga and for the Argentina national team.

De Paul, who was born in Sarand, Greater Buenos Aires, joined Racing Club’s youth program in 2002 at the age of eight.
While still a junior, he was called up to the main team on June 24, 2012, for a match against Vélez Sarsfield, but he did not play in the 1-2 home loss.
De Paul agreed to a five-year contract with Atlético Madrid on July 12, 2021. He joined his new club only a few days after Argentina won the Copa América.
