Late media personality Roger Pearce died on November 21, 2022, in Qatar, while serving as the head of Technical department of ITV.

Pearce, 65, has been described as a highly respected figure in the TV sports broadcasting industry, and a charming personality who would stop at nothing to put smiles on the faces of others.

‘So sad to hear of the passing of my friend and former colleague at ITV Meridian, Roger Pearce. He died on his last assignment in Qatar before retirement in 5 weeks’ time. RIP Roger,’ Neil Stainsby wrote on Twitter.

Another fan took to social media to write: “Very sad to hear of the passing of ITV’s Roger Pearce. All the tributes are so deserved. Such wonderful service he gave.”
