In 2002, he appeared in the family-friendly Scooby-Doo. He also made an appearance in Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed. Unlike his previous films, these two were huge box office successes, grossing over $350 million combined.
Prinze went on to appear in several TV shows after Scooby-Doo, including Friends, Boston Legal, and George Lopez. He was also given his sitcom, simply called Freddie.
Prinze is an avid practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, having advanced to the rank of the purple belt under Jean Jacques Machado.
